Have you heard of the Cerrado Mineiro classification for coffee?

It is analogous to Bordeaux or Burgundy for wine (or Saks or Barneys for shopping) in the world of coffee. The classification is recognized across the world as a marker of high quality.

Part of magic is due to the weather: the Northwestern pocket of Brazil has well-defined seasons that ensure optimal ripeness, and freshness. The hot, wet summers mean the coffee fruit develops fruit-forward flavors, and the pleasantly dry winters means those flavors are balanced by a bright acidity.

But it's also the elevation: coffee is grown here at between 800 and 1,300 meters above sea level.

Of course, the care goes into it too: from the farming to the harvesting and processing, every aspect of the production is monitored to ensure only the best beans make their way into designated bags.
We are thrilled here at Honesta Coffee to introduce a Cerrado Mineiro coffee grown by Evanete Peres Domingues at her century old family farm in the district of Amanhece, near the city of Araguari.

All of the coffee grown by Paradise Estate Coffee is third-party origin and quality guaranteed Cerrado Mineiro Region by the Brazilian Designation of Origin regulatory board. From bean to bag, every step of the process ensures optimal quality and care in terms of the beans, and the people who grow, pick and process them.

This coffee is a rare gem, and we are lucky to be able to offer it to you. Think of it as the Grand Cru of coffee—we can’t wait to hear what you think! Order 12 ounce, 16 ounce or 5 pound bags here
